The 415B is a new folding quadcopter also featuring WiFi FPV, altitude hold, headless mode, one key return and 5-6 minutes of flight time.
Design wise this quadcopter is pretty unique as far as folding quadcopters go. The arms themselves fold in so that it resembles a ball when storing and in flying mode the camera hangs under the quadcopter.
The battery for this quadcopter in internal which means that you can not buy spares and are stuck with only the one charge.
Since the camera hangs below the 415B when unfolded the propellers don’t get in the way of the camera. Camera quality is 0.3MP which means video will likely be 640×480 and there will be a slight video delay as the video is streaming over WiFi
With WiFi FPV there is always going to be a slight delay regardless of the signal quality and thankfully we have altitude hold to help compensate for that.
Altitude hold allows the quadcopter to maintain its height automatically which is great because it can be difficult to manually adjust throttle over a delay.
This quadcopter also comes with a carrying case for easy portability and storage.
The transmitter is nothing special featuring buttons for the various functions like speed changing and a phone mount on the top for the WiFi FPV.
You can also pick up the 415C which comes with only the quadcopter and must be controlled via your phone instead of a transmitter.
The 415B is definitely an interesting quadcopter and as far as folding quadcopters go features a totally unique design. As for the actual WiFi FPV and altitude hold portion this isn’t going to be anything groundbreaking but it should work okay. Click the button below to pick one up for yourself.
