Take the JJRC H37 with you anywhere
Today we’re checking the JJRC H37 ELFIE which is a new folding drone that features WiFi FPV, altitude hold, Headless mode, G-sensor control and more.
The design of this drone is very nice and all about portability with the arms and propellers folding into the body allowing you to fit this drone in your pocket.
It isn’t exactly a unique design with things like the Zerotech and Wingsland S6 “selfie” drones (which are way more expensive) but it does hit a very good price point for its features and build.
The camera itself is purported to be a 720p camera in actuality you’re only getting 720 x 576 resolution which is right about where I expected it to be considering it records video to your phone.
G-Sensor mode is pretty neat and works by using the accelerometer in your phone to control the drone, all you have to do is tilt your phone and it will move in the direction you tilt.
This drone doesn’t come with a transmitter which means that you’ll be controlling it entirely by a mobile app. While that does mean you’ll be controlling it entirely from your phone it’s not difficult at all thanks to altitude hold which helps you not have to fight the throttle.
The flight time they give has a pretty wide range of 8-15 minutes but I think it’s more likely to be on the lower end or middle range just considering the battery size and weight.
Overall I think this is a neat little quadcopter because of its portability, 720 x 576 camera, and relatively low price range. The video delay with the WiFi FPV doesn’t concern me since it does have altitude hold which will help you out alot. Click the button below to pick one up for yourself today.
