The SYMA X14 is a brand new quadcopter featuring altitude hold, headless mode, flip mode, one key land/takeoff, and up to 8 minutes of flight time.
The body features a lightweight plastic shell with square tubes that act as arms connecting the motors to the main body. Also featured on this quadcopter is gear motors, 2 bladed propellers, and flexible prop guards to protect your propellers from bumps and crashes.
They’ve also decided to include a removable battery with this one giving you the ability to keep multiple batteries charged.
Flight performance on this one I imagine will be pretty good due to how lightweight it is and because it is around 9 x 9 inches wide it is definitely more of an outdoor flyer.
That being said altitude hold is very nice for beginners just getting comfortable with flying as it makes you not have to worry about the throttle.
The transmitter is the one that is standard with pretty much all of the SYMA quadcopters nowadays and is really superior to their old models. This newer model features 2 spring centered control sticks, buttons in the control sticks themselves, and 2 sets of 2 buttons on the shoulders.
On the top right shoulder you have your takeoff/land and flip buttons while on the right side you have photo buttons which is used in their camera quadcopters.
Overall I think the SYMA X14 is a nice new addition to the SYMA family and so far is looking pretty solid. The altitude hold is great for beginners and the removable battery gives you even more flight time if you purchase extra batteries. Click the button below for more pictures and information.
